HAYLLIE REED-SMITH

Hayllie Reed-Smith, a Pacific Northwest native from Western Washington, has lived on the Palouse for 7 years. She is our clinical intern and holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Psychology from Washington State University. Hayllie has many years of experience in research pertaining to clinical Psychology and has personally witnessed the benefits of implementing new and innovative techniques, both in a lab and in an office setting. She has been a co-author on multiple research findings regarding infant and adolescent temperament, and hopes to use this knowledge to assist Dr. Fraley in expanding her practice and helping even more children and adolescents on the Palouse.

Hayllie, the eldest of six children, has a deep passion of pediatric mental health issues which has driven to her to make a difference in her community.

Hayllie is not only an important part of our clinical treatment team, but she also is helping with collecting data and getting it to publication for treatment findings in the HND program as well as new methods Fraley & Associate’s is using in general practice.

PEER COUNSELOR
RYAN FRALEY

Ryan Fraley is from the Spokane Valley, but has lived in Moscow for 13 years. His experience working with kids that have disabilities at his local high school, earned him an award in 2016. Ryan has also been a peer counsellor for Fraley & Associates for the past 3 years, working with children from 8 – 18 years of age with a diverse range of disabilities.

This is work that Ryan is passionate about and excels in, which comes across to the children he has counselled over the years.

Equine Specialist
Jack Gamble

Jack Gamble Equine Specialist “Jack Gamble, a Northwest native from the Palouse region, is an Equine Specialist and a certified member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horseman International (PATH). He is an expert horseman with a passion for the healing process involved in equine therapy. Over the years he has had the pleasure of seeing just how much of an impact this type of therapy makes.

With 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 chickens…he fits right in at the barn!

Jack is also an integral part of the research team, spearheaded by Dr. Lynn Fraley, which is engaged in cataloguing the results of the LEAP program. Findings will be published and made available to the public and other mental health/equine therapy professionals in 2018.

Program Director
Tess Collum

Tess Collum is originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and recently moved to the Pacific Northwest in late 2017. She serves as the Program Director for a new residential treatment facility, Legend Wellness Retreat Center. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kutztown University and is currently finishing her MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management.

She has worked with children with developmental delays and behavioral challenges for over ten years in many facets; as a Program Manager for foster youth in a group home, Therapeutic Staff Support, camp counselor, private coach in gymnastics, nanny and volunteer. She has served six years in the Army as a Medical Service Corps officer participating in missions such as delivering dental, medical and behavioral services to underserved populations in Arkansas.

As a certified massage therapist and advocate of natural treatment, she passionate about holistic mental health and is excited to make the dream of the residential retreat center a reality.
